Skiibii has dropped a fresh tune titled “Back To Sender,” marking his first official single for the year 2023. The Nigerian musician, who collaborates with Eskala, delivers a smashing Afropiano track in which he declares that he has no regrets and that everything is in order.
In recent months, Skiibii’s name has been in the headlines due to a messy social media breakup with his ex-girlfriend, DSF. The singer was accused of orchestrating a robbery while on vacation in Zanzibar, and DSF claimed that he made off with her valuable jewelry and gadgets. Skiibii’s management team, More Grace Entertainment, released an official statement in response, claiming that Skiibii’s name had been defamed and that he had also lost his own diamond jewelry.
Skiibii later broke his silence with a snippet of “Back To Sender,” a track produced by Mystro that perfectly blends Afrobeat and Amapiano. In the song, Skiibii Mayana sings about how DSF is attempting to thwart his progress and steal his shine. The lyrics include: “She said she feeling the boy she wants to enter/London la lo fun osu mefa/I be Lion boy from Ojuelegba/God cover me back to sender…”
