Chukwuemeka Tony Ogbodo hails from Akpu Ugo in Nkanu West L.G.A Enugu state. He is popularly known as Emmie. Born to the family of Mr/Mrs Hycent Ogbodo, he is a graduate of Mass Communication at Federal Poly, Anambra state.
He started his music career as a bassist, and has played a good number of hits in the gospel music industry with artiste like Gozie Okeke, Chinyere Udoma, Ifeanyi Ibeabuchi, James Arum and has also played with Tilda of Cameroon, Pryce Amah of Ghana amongs others.
Not satisfied with being in the shadow of others, he took the option of self autonomy and joined the music industry as a producer/artiste in Anambra state in 2010 and later relocated to Lagos with the aim of becoming one of the ”A” list producer/artiste in the Nigerian music industry. The multi-talented artiste, producer and instrumentalist said the big picture is attainable only through hard work, focus and determination. His love for music started from the age of 14 which has kept him flying. Its easier when you have love for what you do. Put God first and success is sure, he says.
