Joeboy – Likkle Riddim

Likkle Riddim by Joeboy Pon Deck Releases ‘Contour’s’ Follow-Up Single, a New Song.
The single combines Joeboy’s words with patois inflections and soulful music by P.Priime for an all-out bashment party banger. It is a skillful fusion of African and Caribbean vibes that is likely to get waistlines moving from Lagos to Kingston.

One of the most promising new artists in African music, JOEBOY has gone from recording cover songs in his college dorm to dominating streaming charts and touring the continent with an incredible string of hits.

He has carved out a unique niche for himself in the increasingly crowded field of Nigerian pop musicians with songs that convey the naivety of young love and the sting of adolescent heartbreak. His rapid rise and hit-making abilities have brought him outside of the continent, earning him praise and publicity from publications like Rolling Stone, CNN, Complex, Pitchfork, and Billboard, among others.

However, “Likkle Riddim” takes a more explicit excursion to the dancehall, with Joeboy detailing an intimate dancefloor encounter like a real gyalist. The Nigerian singer has previously experimented with island influences, spicing his 2021 mega song “Sip (Alcohol)” with Jamaican patois.

Enjoy the music!
