Sonny Ogbuehi(AKA Sonnyman), is a rapper, producer and song writer from Abia State. At the age of 4 years old, he moved to the United States with his parents and developed interest in poetry. He wrote several poems that were subsequently featured in kid’s magazine.
He moved back to Nigeria for his Secondary school education where He later developed a strong passion for music. Inspired by artist such as Bobby Brown, he made the transition from poetry to writing music lyrics.
He recorded his first demo in 1998, but moved back to the United States where he attended the City University of New York and graduated with a degree in Computer Information Systems in 2001.
He released an independent album in New York City titled –“Leave me alone”. He made another transition -from being solely an artist to artist/producer.
Armed with the skill of production, he decided to take charge of his own production, and he released several singles into the Nigerian market including “Everybody Know Say”, “Soji”,”Shakara” and “Crazy Party featuring Nolo”.
In December 2011, he dropped the new rap single “Adim Hot” into the Nigerian music market.

He has a B.sc in Computer Science from Ghana and cut his rap teeth while in Military School in Jos. He made it on to the DJ Neptune top50 Enigma Mixtape last year and has a few collabos to his name. He is now set to release some parts of his body of work to the market and this is his first offering. Originally a battle MC, Damage is a rapper / Song Writer and has opened for industry acts like D’banj, Wizkid, Banky and Dipp etc. With Performances at the Top 10 Mic Concert, Peak Talent Show and Dance 234 Grand Finals, Damage is poised to be another breakout rapper for this year.
